Triangle Corner Pop Up Card for Case The Creator (CTC)card

Hello Stamping Friends,

Hostess Code:  94TSAZ3P

It was fun to meet with those of you who could attend the 4th Tuesday Zoom meeting at 11:30 MT.

You’ve been neglecting me lately!

That I have, Sal, I am rethinking my blog strategies but I want to advertise my mini catalog launch on May 10 so here I am again!  I say mini catalog launch because it isn’t an all day event and I won’t have as many make and take projects.

I will have a raffle basket filled with special gifts!  You can get an entry ticket by:

  • attending
  • completing the crossword puzzle scavenger hunt.  (The crossword puzzle will be on my blog next Tuesday!)
  • bringing a card/project for display using something from the new catalog (returned to you after the event)
  • ordering from me – one ticket for each $25 order
  • purchasing a ticket for $2.

Mini Catalog Launch

  • Tuesday, May 10, 9:30 – 11:30
  • RSVP by Friday May 6 please, Text 303-815-0838.  Bring your completed crossword puzzle.
  • My home in Castle Rock, 4143 Eagle Ridge Way
  • Agenda
    • Show and Tell with projects from the new catalog
    • Review the answers to the crossword puzzle
    • 10:30 Draw for door prize
    • Create In Color swatch sheet
    • Simple Make and Take
    • 11:30 Draw for the raffle basket
    • Lunch in town

Case The Creator Card Challenge

This month we cased Dawn Griffith’s Triangle Corner Pop Up Easel Card!

That’s a mouthful!

Yes, Dawn calls it a “Fancy, Schmancy Corner Fun Fold”!  Her video is in the instructions.

I ordered the tiny magnets from Amazon:

Let’s check out all the cards we made for the Zoom meeting.  Thank you to those who participated!
My card uses the ‘Windmill Fields’ dies and the ‘Flowering Fields’ DSP and the ‘Flowering Tulips’ stamp set for the greeting.  This bundle and the paper are in the mini catalog so we have until June 30 to order (unless it sells out first)!  Arghhhh……

.    .   .

The bicycle is hidden when you open up the easel so be careful with your design.  I had a lot of fun with the bicycle!  I used the long, tiny tulip die to create a basket of tulips!  I will write my greeting under the ‘thank you’ since I went against protocol and made the bottom left another flower display instead of the place to write a note.

Heather made a fabulous graduation card with beautiful gold embossed paper and black!  I love the diploma for the easel stand up!

.

Joy’s beautiful card uses the ‘Expressions In Ink’ designer series paper.  We only have until May 2nd to get discontinuing items, like this DSP, from the annual catalog!

.

Sharon’s uses the Tea Time stamp set and Tea Together dies-  look at the little heart she put on the lid!

Sheri used the ‘Flowering Fields’ DSP and the ‘Simply Succulents’ stamp set for greetings:

.   .

Ann used the ‘You’re A Peach’ DSP and the ’Sweet As A Peach Bundle’.  Those peaches even look fuzzy!  The amazing “Dist ink tive” stamps!  These are in the Annual catalog as well so order before May 2.

  .

Jo’s little rabbit made us all smile, and eggs from the Arrange A Wreath set and Wreath Builder Dies were perfect with the paper.

.

They followed instructions and had a large place for a message.

Indeed!  Isn’t it fun to see all the different creations from one set of instructions?!

The new Annual Catalog goes live on May 3 but in the meantime checkout the store for retiring products with great discounts!

You should have received a catalog from me if you placed a $50 order last year.  If not send me a text with your address and I will drop one in the mail.  Text  303-815-0838

PS. I would love to know if you are using the blog as I analyze plans for the future of the blog.

Do you ever need to know the name of a stamp set for a greeting you saw me use on a card so you go to the recipe box and scroll to the card and click on it and find the name of the stamp set?  I do that a lot.

Do you ever click on little Sal in the computer to go to the store and check out the clearance rack or new specials?

Do you ever use the search field here on the blog to find an idea for a stamp set you would like to use?

Do you ever go to the blog to get instructions for a technique by finding a similar card in the recipe box and then going to the specific blog post?

How else do you use the blog?

Leave a comment and I will draw from all the comments for a prize.

Thank you much!
