Retiring Products Announced
Hurry Stamping Friends,
Grab your wish list and see if any of the products you have wanted are being discontinued. There are a few things we know for sure:
- All the products associated with the 2018-2019 In Colors are being retired. Check out my previous post here.
- The Big Shot and accessories as well as the Stampin’ Trimmer are being retired. Check out my previous post here.
- All the bundles will be retired. The individual products may carryover to the new catalog but there will not be a 10% discount.
- The Designer Series Papers will be retired.
- All clear mount and wood mount stamps – except the large background wood stamps- are being retired.
The lists make it look like every single stamp set is being discontinued but this is not the case. The clear mount is transitioning to cling mount.
This is a list of stamps that will carryover to the new catalog in the new cling mount:

Hear Ye! Hear Ye! The first announcement of retiring products!
Hello Stamping Friends,
Stampin’ Up! is moving to a stronger position in the market. They are eliminating the middle man for their die cutting and embossing machine and going direct to the manufacturer! Accordingly the “Big Shot”, as we know it, will be retired along with all its accessories.
I am listing everything that is “Big Shot” though it is an assumption at this point based on the announcement today that just said the machine and accessories.
The Stampin’ Trimmer is also being retired.
Currently we are allowed to buy three sets of blades for the trimmer. When the retirement list comes out on Monday, April 15th, we will be able to buy six sets until they are depleted. As always, they will be available as long as supplies last. I recommend stocking up on the blades and the Big Shot cutting pads. Stampin’ Up! is still working with the manufacturer so the new catalog will not have a die cutting and embossing machine. Until the new one becomes available we need to get supplies for what we have. Change is hard but it will be worth it! The Stamparatus is a cut above the competition and I am sure the new SU die cutting and embossing machine will be the same.
The ‘In Color’ inks, refills and paper will be the first to sell out so be sure you have the stock you want to carry forward.
I will post the retired list Monday so be watching!
The current hostess code is KTHPFHPP. Order $75 using this hostess code and receive a set of Gingham Daisy cards similar to these designed by Janice Laroche!
As always,

Storage by Stampin’ Up! Your Space.Your Way. New Line of Stampin’ Up! Products
Hello Stamping Friends,
It has been all over social media but I like to wait until you can actually order the products before presenting them. Well, today is the day that the new Stampin’ Storage line of products is available to everyone to order! Let’s start with a quick video from the home office- click the picture:
Now let’s look at the individual pieces and prices:
PS: At convention in Orlando we used that lovely Floral Grid Paper and it has only been available to demonstrators until today!
Here is a configuration tool to help you decide what you need and a set of frequently asked questions:
I will order a set to display at the April Luncheon on Saturday, April 13, or Tuesday, April 16. Click HERE for details or to RSVP.
As a special bonus, order $75 or more of this or any product during the month of April with hostess code KTHPFHPP and I will make you a set of five Delightful Daisy cards with a design similar to the one created and shown here by Janice Laroche:
If you ordered one each of the storage units, the grid paper and one month of a prepaid Paper Pumpkin you would hit the $75 total.
Did you like that video-(click on the last line above if you missed it)? Maybe we should add sponge daubers #133773 to our order. The stamp set Tanner used is on page 110 of the catalog:
‘Healing Hugs’ is a great get well stamp set that is easy to overlook in the catalog and a necessary addition to our collection.
I followed a rabbit trail to the craft quotations on Pinterest and laughed so hard I…….well you don’t need to know the rest. Here is one from The Funny Beaver.com:
I am off to order the storage boxes and plan the luncheon! Be sure and RSVP soon. The hostess code is KTHPFHPP.
