The Dainty Delight bundle<\/strong> at Stampin’ Up! carried over into the new catalog and I am definitely delighted!\u00a0 I am casing a Wyermann’s Whimsey card design and she has a great tip for us on her youtube channel.\u00a0 I will include those links further down the blog.<\/p>\n

Here is a thank you card just like Lorraine Weyermann’s with just a few of my own changes:<\/p>\n

\"\" Wait!\u00a0 You used a die cut for the greeting that isn’t symmetrical?!\u00a0\u00a0<\/a><\/p>\n

Yes, Sal, it is from the Beautiful Shapes Dies<\/strong> from Stampin’ Up! – retiring May 3!<\/p>\n

The stamping on the inside of the birthday card is from the Stampin’ Up! Artistically Inked Stamp Set<\/strong> and it is not retiring.\u00a0 The little flowers and grass at the bottom of the inside of the birthday card are from the Dainty Delight stamp set<\/strong> and I colored the back of the stamp with markers.\u00a0 The front greetings are both from the Dainty Delight stamp set<\/strong> stamped in Memento Black on a Basic White Beautiful Shapes Die- (the one I said I would never use-ha -never say never)!<\/p>\n

Recipe<\/strong><\/h3>\n

  • Base:\u00a0 Basic White, 5 1\/2 X 8 1\/2, scored at 4 1\/4<\/li>\n
  • Layer (X2):\u00a0 Designer Series Paper (DSP), 5 1\/4 X 4 (cut with the yellow at top left for a bit of sunshine)<\/li>\n
  • Flowers:\u00a0 Die cut with Dainty Delight dies\n
      \n
    • Flirty Flamingo – 1 1\/2 X 2, 1 full flower cut, 1 half flower cut<\/li>\n
    • Melon Mambo – 1 1\/2 X 2, 1 full flower cut, 1 half flower cut, layer behind Flirty Flamingo<\/li>\n
    • Fresh Freesia – 1 1\/2 X 2, 1 full flower cut, 1 half flower cut<\/li>\n
    • Highland Heather – 1 1\/2 X 2, 1 full flower cut, 1 half flower cut, layer behind Fresh Freesia<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n
    • Vine:\u00a0 Old Olive, 5 X 2 1\/2, die cut with Dainty Delight vine die<\/li>\n
    • Centers:\u00a0 Daffodil Delight, 1 X 1, die cut with the center which has four centers together – 2 full and 2 half centers<\/li>\n
    • Greeting:\u00a0 Basic White, 3 1\/4 X 1 1\/2, stamp greeting in Memento Black, die cut with Beautiful Shapes die and adhere direct to the DSP<\/li>\n
    • Embellish:\u00a0 brass butterfly and flower resin shape – retired<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      The vine is glued direct to the DSP.<\/p>\n

      Layer the flowers with glue dots and then pop up with dimensionals.<\/p>\n
